S.P.A.M.

S.P.A.M. Seduction. Power. Attention. Manipulation.

©️SPAM — copyright on the body: algorithms of attention and manipulation, strategies to “patent,” “brand,” and turn it into a commodity. It is a feminist visual observation of how the female body throughout history has become a public space — a projection of desires, ideologies, and commercial gaze. From the mythological Venus to advertising posters, from academic painting to Instagram feeds, the female figure remains a surface upon which the world inscribes its meanings. In this cycle — Seduction, Power, Attention, Manipulation — unfolds the story of the image as both instrument and code.

The female body in Ludmila Christeseva´s works is neither condemned nor exalted — it is regarded as a marked space where norms, stereotypes, and critiques of the male gaze intertwine. It becomes an interface between reality and representation. S.P.A.M. is not simply painting but a collective visual chronicle of how the body is treated: from worship to consumption, from concealment to excessive display.
